Don’t let the smooth, slick style of Curtis Bayles aka Curt Digg fool you. The heart of his lyrics are urban and gritty, but his melodious California vibe commands you to listen. Digg was born in Detroit, Michigan where the motor city left a impressionable musical birthmark on him. When he was five years old, Curt Digg moved to California and this cross country relocation as well as several other events would change his life forever.

At an early age, Curt’s dad introduced him to the soulful sounds of Motown and other R&B classics, but his father’s influenced would be short lived. When he was eight years old, Curt’s father passed away and the lack of a male figure left him with many questions. He turned to the streets to get the answers that a father is suppose to answer. It was also on these same streets where he found his love of rap. He states, “I grew up around a bunch of rappers”  Some of his early rap musical influences includes Ice Cube, NWA, E-40, The Dogg Pound and King Tee.

These California legends inspired Digg to take music in his life more serious. He took his occasional freestyle battle to the studio where he honed his craft. When Curt Digg became more serious about his music, he left the streets and focused on his career. His dedication and new hustle allowed him to perform coast to coast. He has opened for such artists as PeteyPablo, Juvenile, Young Buck, C-Bo, Sugar Free, Kurupt and Nipsey Hustle.

In 2011 Digg career got a shot in the arm when he was introduced to a Miami businessman who believed in his talent.  This individual’s investment into the Curt Digg brand has enabled the artist to bring his music mainstream. Digg has been able to work with industry producing giants Cool and Dre as well as video music director Eif Rivera (50 cent,Diddy,FatJoe,FrenchMontana,Etc). 2014 Digg started his own official record Hate Da Game Ent and has several songs that are future monster hits such as the new 2015 Street Anthem ‘Real Shit’ featuring G-Units Kidd Kidd.  also‘Cant Stop Wont Stop’ ft Problem & J whip will be a radio staple. .Currently, you can find his current single, ‘Put It On You Ft Ahmad’ on Itunes!
